Debt make you sick...!!!

My family have been around with debt. It started from my father and been inheritant to my siblings and me... ahahha... it making us sick.

I have six sibling and all of them, excluding my eldest sister had been forced (with our permission.. of course) to settle my father's huge debt.
Lets start the chronolgy...
Firstly my second sister. I remember that she had persuaded her husband to agree to buy a car (PROTON) named by my auntie. My father used my auntie's name to make a loan and bought this car. After few years, when my mother had a stroke, my auntie's name been blacklisted. In order to clear up her name, my sister take the risk. It was 5 years ago...

Secondly, my elder brother...
My father bought a apartment without permission from my mom. So, when mom no longer cant go to work, he can't manage to pay the instalment. Pity to my brother, he went back to kampung and lend money from his father in law to replace/buy the apartment. Otherwise, my father could be in the jail right now.

MYself...
not that worse but after been "MAKI" and threaten by the guarantor's of my mother's friend (which obviousely loan with my mother's name but only dad used all the money). I was just 1 year in service, then I applied Bank Rakyat loan to clear up the guarantor's name. ehhehe... it was 15K loan but I pay RM5++ monthly for 4 year. Finally I managed to clear the debt within 4 year. nasib baik my hubby tak bising sgt... and before the last two months payment settle...

it wasn't stop there...
The telephone keep on ringging from the Southern Bank. It was about my father credit card which already exceed 15K. HUUaaarrrgghhhh... all of us sick and thought how to settle the debt. We had big family meeting and the decision been made... DAD should take care of his debt now... but I agreed to give him RM500 a months to help him to clear the credit card because my comitment on the bank rakyat loan almost settle.

let's see how about my other two younger brothers. hehhe both also had the same.
One of them (Abeng), after a confrantation with my mom had agreed to used his name to became a guarantor when by father wanted to buy a lorry. He said he need that lorry to do business on recycle things. And I guess you all know what happened next... and we also had this discussion during the huge meeting. He sufferred because his name already blacklisted by Bank Negara.

Finally...
The youngest (Adik) one had the very tough one. He is an engineer in private sector and work on shore. During the meeting we decided to buy our father's house in Pandamaran by Adik's name. He manage to buy the house with 170K loan. Our father had to agree with us, otherwise none of his children will help him anymore. We pay all his debt (credit card, lorry to clear up Abeng's name)and others debt with people and all the balance we give to him and mother. The balance was around 40K.

My mom decided to deposit the money to Tabung Haji and be ready to perform hajj.
I just hope my father will managed the money wisely.

That was a happy ending. hopefully... :-)
